And so that’s what we were here to capture.
One of the pictures I took back in August, was of this tree-lined pathway which leads up to the Lodge…
.. which at that time, due to the sun light filtering through the trees, looked wonderful to the eye – and so we had suggested in our report that an image of a family out walking here, would help them tell their story to their guests.
So we kicked of with that one on the Monday morning – but as you can see here…
.. it was kind-off dark – but not for long, as Claudio here..
.. set about lighting it up, with a lot more power than was needed, as you can see…
.. but he finally got there…
.. just before everyone arrived…
.. and so with different hats on hand and some leaves to mark the spot…
.. which naturally needed to be kicked…
.. the final image was created in no time at all
Then it was up to the family bedroom, which as you can see was also dark…
.. but not for long…
.. as Claudio had obviously it all figured out…
.. and so too had Dianne, by the looks of it…
.. while I stood and watched…
.. and looked at the screen…
.. as it was clear that they knew what they were doing…
.. and we’re loving every minute of it too…
.. which was great to see.
Anyway, it was then time introduce the real Stars of the show…
.. and a few minutes later, this was the result…
.. to show their family twin bedroom.
Leaving time to eat the props…
.. before heading back over to the MacLeod House to set-up the shot in this room…
.. which in our report we had suggested would work well as the Bridal suite.
Which it basically did by the time I had set-up the camera…
.. as this was one that Dianne had clearly had a vision for – and so in no time at all, this was the result…
.. as the team were definitely on top form here
Ahead of schedule and with time to spare before the evening shot of the dining room set for a banquet, we decided to next shoot this their Classic bedroom…
.. which was the room I stayed in when we were over in August – hence the messy bed
And so with the camera in position…
.. the fun began…
.. as Dianne here…
.. was replace with a lighting stand – and my new camera bag even made an appearance…
.. before the fire was lit to produce this the final image…
.. which hopefully looks like I did nothing at all, other than used a good camera to take the picture
Which just left the evening shot of the dining room to go – and as you can see here from the first picture taken of it…
.. that looked like it was going to be an easy one to do.
A touch more light, fix that blind…
.. check how it looks on the screen…
.. and then…
Let’s start all over again…
.. so it really was all hands on board at this stage…
.. as night time approached and Claudio stood-in for one last test shot …
.. before we created this our final image of the day…
.. “just for you”, as we would say
Seven done, five to go – so more to follow, as tomorrow is another day, as I would say
