Calm restored.

Is the title of our latest published work in the October 2016 issue of 25 Beautiful Homes magazine…

.. on pages 90 to 93 – featuring Emma and Graham’s Victorian semi detached house in Belfast.

“By repurposing and reimagining, Emma and Graham Given have turned their ‘house of horrors’ into an elegantly practical home.”

Plus New For Old is the title of our other one in this issue…

.. on pages 124 to 126 – featuring John Wilson’s house in the County Down seaside village of Ballyhalbert.

Coming home.

Is the title of our latest published work in the November 2015 issue of 25 Beautiful Homes magazine…

.. on pages Pages 82 to 85 – which features Kim & Derek’s barn extension nestled in the Sperrin Mountains near Limavady in County Londonderry.

“Kim and Derek Loughery took on the challenge of restoring an old stone barn that had been in the family for generations.”

Which we talked about shooting here: Nestled in the Sperrin Mountains – a few months ago.

The other is called Colour Therapy on pages 142 to 144…

.. which features Deborah & Graham’s semi-detached house in the Belmont area of Belfast.

“Deborah and Graham Moore turned a run-down semi into the perfect backdrop for fun and bright vintage finds.”

Which we talked about shooting here: No ordinary house will make it – a few months ago too.

So that sure put a smile on our faces yesterday as we were coming home from Poulton-le-Fylde…

.. after some colour therapy as well – which no doubt I’ll talk more about later – but for now I just want to say a big Congratulations to both Kim & Derek and to Deborah & Graham, for making it into this top selling national magazine – from Marie, Mandi & me @ ampimage.com

A wee touch of France in Ireland.

Charlotte Hamel’s modern apartment here…

.. in Dublin’s stylish docklands area, was where we were shooting a few months ago.

Started upstairs in the sitting room area…

.. which after a bit of pushing & shoving of furniture around – as well as adding some additional light – ended up looking like this…

.. after about an hour.

So a bit of a slow start on the first one – but once we had that done, then we were able to produce a number of detail shots like is…

.. of the Eiffel Tower window display – which clearly told us all were Charlotte was originally from

Very creative and beautiful too…

.. so after a slow start, we were now on a roll.

The kitchen was small, as one would half expect in a city apartment – so it didn’t take Marie long to sort it all out…

.. and after it was lit, this was the result…

.. which was followed by the main living & dining area in the apartment – which was at this stage, as you can see here…

.. in a bit of a mess due mainly to us

Anyway, once again Marie wasn’t long in sorting it all out…

.. and the end result…

.. I thought looked pretty amazing – ‘wow’ in fact.

Which just left the bathroom and this bedroom to shoot…

.. which once again didn’t take that long to do, once it had been lit…

.. and styled for the camera.

So a wee touch of France in Ireland ​is how I viewed this one – it was lovely – and so it came as no great surprise to see it being featured in the latest issue of 25 Beautiful Homes magazine this month…

.. on pages 66 to 69 – which I talked about here: Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow and double Wow.

So just want to say a big thanks to Charlotte here for inviting us in – and yes we would both totally agree with you ​when you emailed us later to say:

OMG! It is stunning!

– because it is, thanks mainly to you and your creative flair

Wait until you see the FRONT cover of 25 beautiful homes?? Just received my copy today and couldn’t get it out of the paper quick enough to flick through it.
Shocked to discover my sunroom on the front cover.

So yes, way to go Lesley, as that is quite an achievement… and we are all over the moon too
