Made me smile.

One of the main reasons as to why I was asked in the first place, to take a look at this house, was because we had just recently shoot some of the bedroom in the K Club hotel itself – which I talked about shooting here: back in July.

And so it was really the bedrooms in this house that they mainly wanted me to take a look at – because they felt that the image that they had of the bedrooms in this house, now didn’t really stack-up against the bedrooms images that we had taken in their hotel. And so since the price difference between what it would cost to stay in this house, was like 10 times more than it would be to stay in the hotel, then they naturally didn’t want the bedrooms in this house to look less impressive.

Which made total sense – as well as made me smile of course, because that was actually quite a compliment smile.

Anyway, this was the room that they were mainly referring to…

.. which as you can see was the master bedroom.

OUR THINKING: “This is a yes.

May move the sofa and coffee table – either towards the window or have the seats face the bed – and put a trunk or something like that at the bottom of the bed.
Early morning feel – light pouring.”

And so last week I was back standing in the same spot – watching my team do their thing, as the furniture got moved around, the bedding was sorted…

.. and then like magic, it was suddenly beautifully lit…

.. thanks to Claudio & Ivan, who were clearly busy working away behind the scenes, on creating that ‘early morning feel’ that I had mentioned on our report.

So it wasn’t long before the 3 of them had it looking like this…

.. which I reckoned was looking pretty good – as we all stood around and looked at the screen…

.. as it was really all down now to the details, i.e. the shoes, bags and what to put on that coffee table in the foreground, etc, etc.

So while the girls worked on all of that, the guys put up another light…

.. which as you can see here…

.. helped throw some light across the coffee table in the foreground.

And so a few minutes, this was the final result…

.. after I added a bit more to the top and bottom – to give ‘their art department guys’ a little more to play with, since they were wanting to use these images in Multiple Media over the next few years.

Which meant five down, one to go – here at Straffan House.
