Nothing between here and America.

Perched out on a peninsula between Limerick and Galway, you can almost taste the pure Atlantic air…

.. it must surely be one of the best place to blow the cobwebs away – especially at this time of year.

Yes, it was great to be down at Doonbeg once again – and as always we were made to feel most welcome – in what has become like our 2nd home, over the past few years.

Anyway, this time our brief was to capture their facilities for corporate bookings – however, from my point of view, it was not the ideal time of the year to be shooting such a thing, as the natural light was very poor…

.. so while Marie & the guys re-aranged the tables and started to dress the room for the camera…

.. I un-loaded the wagon and set-up every light that I had.

So needless to say it took a while – still, very pleased with the final result…

.. but as I look at this image now, I can’t help but think: It’s just a pity my wagon wasn’t amphibious 🙂

After that we produced some images in the a-jointing library…

.. as well as down in the Golf Shop – while the guys upstairs started to set-up the main conference room again, this time to show how it would look should someone want a more formal style like this…

.. which once again required every light I had – even thought the final result here…

.. probably looks like I didn’t use any.

But then again, that’s often the goal, i.e. to make it look 100% natural – or just like you would expect it to look, if you were to walk into the room on a sunny day.

Anyway, the final version they wanted, was to show how it would look set-up like so…

.. which I knew from looking at this first image, was going to need the light reversed.

So after closing the curtains behind me, it was time to add the main directional light while Marie stood in to act the part…

.. and about an hour and a half later, it was time for Ray to stand-in…

.. who then asked for a formal portrait of himself, as he informed us he had just been made a Director – so way to go Ray…

.. as there is nothing between here and America now 🙂

Personally, if all site owners and bloggers made just right content material as you probably did, the internet shall be much more helpful than ever before.
