A slice of heaven.

Especially for those who are into playing a few rounds of golf – and then enjoying the 19th hole afterwards.

Shooting the Member’s Clubhouse was the second part of our assignment, while down at Doonbeg last week.

Members enjoy unlimited access to Greg Norman‘s acclaimed links course, ranked the “Best New International Course, 2002” by Golf Digest.

Doonbeg Golf Club has been carefully conceived as the ultimate home club for the discerning international golfer. By becoming a Member, you will join a select group of links enthusiasts from around the world.

But lighting this bar & restaurant area was definitely a challenge…

The Doonbeg Clubhouse is located just above the Championship tee for the first hole. As the cornerstone of the Doonbeg golf village, it houses the Club’s private amenities. These include Members-only locker rooms…

.. a private pub and dining room, and a Member’s living room overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

So now you know what’s behind those doors, which was summed-up by one of their guests, when she said: “Doonbeg is a real slice of heaven!”
