Is the title of our most recent work in the March 2011 issue of Style at Home magazine…
.. on pages 114 to 120 – featuring Carol Moore’s Semi detached house in Belfast.
We originally thought this was going to be featured in Ideal Home magazine; however, IPC Media have launched this new magazine, so it has appeared in this instead.
Anyway, congratulation to Carol once again…
.. your home looks amazing in this new magazine – which is bursting with practical & stylish ideas.

Is the title of our current work in in the March 2011 issue of Real Homes magazine…
.. on pages 34 to 41 and also page 17 – featuring Pamela and Stephen Wilson’s 60’s semi in Belfast.
Beautiful !!! – what else can I say but go out and buy it and have a look.
So a big Thanks to Pamela here…
.. and her husband Stephen – and Congratulations once again to both of you… your home looks great.
.. and a photo shoot can change peoples’ perceptions and feelings for their home.
A lot of the discussion at yesterday’s shoot was whether the owners of this very pretty cottage style bungalow…
.. should move to a larger house in order to get more space – or stay put and extend.
They’d tried putting their home on the market – but selling homes in the current climate is difficult to say the least!!
After a while, people trying to sell their home can become very disenfranchised and disheartened.
They begin to wonder “what’s wrong with my home” !!
So when a team like ourselves come along ‘out of the blue’ and tell them their home is gorgeous and we’d like to shoot it for a magazine – it often reminds folk why they fell in love with the home and bought it in the first place.
And then when they see our final images, which are all about lifestyle…
.. and atmosphere…
.. which is different to how the Estate Agency’s photographer’s picture below looks…
.. which is more about showing the space – they suddenly seem to look at their home with fresh eyes, remember the lovely times they’ve enjoyed there…
.. and begin to feel happy with it once again.
Which this is actually something we’re encountering quite a lot, especially over the last few years.
And the upshot with yesterday’s shoot – well Yes, it very much looks like the Patricia and Christopher are going to stay put and extend.
They have remembered what a unique home they have and why they fell in love with it in the first place !!
Anyway, just like to say a big thanks to Patricia and Christopher for making us feel so welcome yesterday – and we hope you & your family enjoy your new found unique home, for many more years to come 🙂

.. for others to use – that’s all we do.
And today was no exception, as we once again successfully turned things upside down…
.. in an attempt to create the look…
.. that we were after.
So it was all hands on board throughout the day…
.. and the fires were lit to help create the sort of images that we believed we were going to need here…
.. to get a good result, i.e. create the sort of images that an Editor would want to use in their magazine.
Anyway, another amazing home in the bag – and some great images of Charles Drumgoold too…
.. who it seems totally renovated this three story waterfront terraced in Bangor – and did much of the work himself, including furnishing it with all sorts of stuff that he had pick-up on his travels around the world.
So hopefully we have successfully produce some images here, that others will want to use – and use a lot for years to come.
In the meantime, I would just like to say a huge thanks to Charles for all his help throughout the shoot – and to Marie too… thanks for everything 🙂
Added note on 17th January 2011: 25 Beautiful Homes magazine said ‘Yes’ – so you will be able to see the full set of images in their magazine soon.
Is the title of our work in the current published work in the November 2010 issue of Atrium magazine…
.. on pages 50 to 59 – featuring Coral and Rob Garlick’s Edwardian mansion located near Godalming in Surrey.
Which when translated from Slovak to English means: Rural idyll.
Cool or what – and it looks amazing too !
So a huge thanks to Steve from Chilli Media for this one – and to Coral & Rob: Congratulations once again – and thank you for making us feel most welcome that day.
Is the title of our latest published work in the February 2011 issue of 25 Beautiful Homes magazine…
.. on pages 46 to 50 – featuring Laura and David Menary’s Victorian townhouse in the County Down town of Holywood.
Which we talk about shooting here: Victorian townhouse for sale.
And also ‘Returning home felt right’ in the new ‘Style at Home’ magazine…
.. on pages 92 to 95 – featuring Jemma McCann’s three bedroom Victorian terrace house in Belfast.
Which we talk about shooting here: First time buyer.
Love it !
There is no doubt about it though, the standards are very high these days – as all the homes, in both these two magazines, have been beautifully shot, lit and styled. Pushing the boundaries of what is expected to new levels – as well as the teams involved.
Anyway, a big thanks to everyone – a nice start to the New Year.
Marie, Mandi & Ashley @ ampimage.com
We weren’t able to get a night out over the Christmas period, for various reasons, but made up for it last night.
So a big thanks to Stuart for suggesting a most enjoyable itinerary (pub crawl) for the night !!
The Spaniard bar, in particular, was great craic – as we tried out our Halloween lighting technique…
.. and yep – I’m quite partial to a good pint of Guinness myself…
.. it’s hard to beat – especially with great colleagues who are also very good mates.
Then it was over to Hakka – which was a brilliant choice too – for fab noodle dishes.
Ah! to be sure to be sure, I’m blessed – to be working with such a great team.
It really was a great night out on the town… thanks to Stuart, Marie & that wee envelope from someone called Kitty too 🙂
So here’s to Arthur – the inventor of the wonderful “black stuff” – and a man after my own heart.
.. is the title of our latest published work in the February 2011 issue of Ireland’s Homes Interiors & Living magazine…
.. on pages 80 to 90 – featuring Marie and Alan’s 1950s New England style cottage in Belfast.
As always with this magazine – which is printed at 175 lpi on very good quality paper – the images look stunning, especially the double page spreads.
Ten pages too – so very pleased and great to see at the start of the New Year.
Way to go Marie – and Happy New Year to you and Alan.
“Come’ere Marie… d’ya think that Ashley boy knows what he’s doing”?
